Sharp pain under the heel — worst with your very first steps in the morning.

Stabbing pain in the bottom of the heel that is worst with the first steps in the morning or after sitting a long time, eases with movement, then returns after standing or walking a lot. It is often linked to long hours on hard floors, unsupportive footwear, extra body weight, tight calf muscles, or very flat or very high arches — strain that can lead to a calcium build-up (a bony spur) at the heel bone.
Every step drives your body weight through an already-tender heel pad. Hard, flat soles with no cushioning pass that impact straight up the leg instead of absorbing it, so the sensitive tissue around the heel keeps getting aggravated.

A stabbing ache along the arch and underside of the foot that flat slippers make worse.

Stabbing pain along the arch or underside of the foot, often worst near the heel. It tends to flare after standing for long periods, walking barefoot on hard floors, or a sudden increase in activity. People often relate it to repeated strain, little or no arch support, tight calves, and thin, unsupportive slippers.
The plantar fascia is a thick band of tissue running from the heel to the toes, and it stretches with every step to absorb impact. Without built-in arch support it over-stretches and develops tiny tears — which is why flat, arch-less slippers usually make the pain worse rather than better.

When feeling in the feet is reduced, ordinary footwear can cause damage you don’t notice.

Numbness or tingling in the feet, cuts and blisters that are slow to heal, dry or cracked skin, and swelling. Over time, diabetes can reduce nerve sensation and blood circulation in the feet, so a blister or pressure point can form without being felt.
With diabetic feet the risk is usually not sharp pain but silent damage. Hard seams, tight straps or stiff soles can press on the skin for hours, and the wearer may not notice a sore developing until it has become serious.

Swollen feet, aching arches and a wider foot shape through pregnancy.

Swollen feet and ankles, tired arches, and feet that feel wider than usual — especially by the end of the day. This is commonly linked to fluid retention, weight gain, and the hormone relaxin loosening the ligaments in the feet during pregnancy.
Extra body weight combined with looser foot ligaments means the arch flattens more than usual with each step. Swelling then makes normal-width, structured footwear feel tight and uncomfortable.

All-day diabetic foot protection for work, home and being on your feet outdoors.

The same diabetic foot-care needs — reduced sensation and the risk of unnoticed pressure sores — but for people who are on their feet a lot: walking to work, standing in a shop or kitchen, running errands, and general daily wear rather than post-operation recovery.
Long hours of daily walking in unsupportive footwear adds up. Without a wide, cushioned, adjustable design, all-day wear itself becomes the main cause of skin damage that a diabetic foot may not feel.

Genuine iWALK Foot Care diabetic & orthopedic footwear for men and women — sandals, slip-ons, closed “Walker” styles and cushioned walking shoes, priced from about ₹700 to ₹4,800. Every pair uses an MCP-cushioned footbed, arch support, soft seam-free uppers and a shock-absorbing sole.
It’s built to protect the foot, not just cover it: a pressure-distributing MCP footbed, a supportive arch, a roomy toe box that makes space for swelling or a wider foot, adjustable straps, and soft “Micro Touch” linings with no hard seams that could rub. That makes it suitable for heel pain, plantar fasciitis, diabetic neuropathy, pregnancy swelling and long hours on your feet.
Use the “What’s troubling your feet?” section near the top of the home page — pick your concern (heel spur, plantar fasciitis, diabetic foot care, pregnancy, everyday walking) and it takes you to the exact styles we recommend for it, with the reasons why. If you’re still unsure, send us a WhatsApp message and we’ll suggest a pair.
